LOT Charters launched flight operations on 1 June 2009. The airline expects 400,000 annual passengers on its short and long haul flights (the latter ones being operated using the Boeing 767-300ER aircraft of mainline LOT), which would allow it to reach a 25 percent market share and establish a leading position among charter carriers operating on the Polish market. Charter contracts have been signed with Neckermann, TUI, Rainbow Tours and others.[2]
During the 2011 summer season, the following destinations are served on a regular basis:[3]
As of January 2012, the LOT Charters fleet consists of four Boeing 737-400 aircraft with an average age of 15.9 years, which are equipped with 162 passenger seats in an all-economy class cabin layout. These aircraft had previously been operated by mainline LOT[4]. The registrations are SP-LLE, SP-LLF, SP-LLG[5] and SP-LLK.
